PEFC-Certified

Our products made of the innovative Twinson wood-plastic composite all carry the PEFC label. This guarantees that the wood used in Twinson comes from sustainable forest management, and that the biodiversity of the forests is preserved.

PEFC /

Sustainable forest management

PEFC is an international organisation dedicated to promoting sustainable forest management. PEFC stands for "Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes". With some 250 million hectares of forest, PEFC is the world's largest certification system. PEFC ensures that more trees are always planted than are taken from the forests. Priority is given to the preservation of the natural habitats of flora and fauna, and to climate protection.

PEFC /

certification system

The PEFC certification system is governed by strict guidelines. There are regular checks to ensure that forests are being managed sustainably, and these are carried out by independent organisations. Standard setting, certification and accreditation areas are kept strictly separate. The label guarantees that, from raw material to finished end product, the whole production process and the complete supply chain are fully compliant with the PEFC standard. Forest owners and companies have an equal responsibility in this. For the consumer, this means the greatest possible transparency: sustainability guaranteed.
