Elegant front doors are optionally available with the ThermoFibra fibreglass technology that ensures the doors are particularly stable, thus eliminating the need for steel reinforcement, increasing thermal insulation and significantly reducing the weight.

New technology with ThermoFibra

Would you like the ultimate combination of technology and design? ThermoFibra reinforces doors with embedded continuous glass fibre strands, which provide enormous stability while enabling the highest thermal insulation values. Steel reinforcement is no longer necessary and the weight of the window can be significantly reduced. ThermoFibra windows and doors can be also be completely recycled. In combination with the thermal Forthex frame, we regard Elegant ThermoFibra as the best solution on the market for steel-free doors. In addition, they canbe completely recycled at Deceuninck.

Easystep – the barrier-free threshold with zero drive-over height

Even thresholds with just 1 or 2 cm drive-over height can be a tripping hazard for toddlers and older people. The Easystep threshold is designed for the Infinity and Grando entrance door frames offered in the Elegant system. It is flush with the floor and no longer impedes bobby cars, rollators, etc.

As a thermally separated threshold, it optimises the connection to the floor and prevents expensive heat losses.
Because of its additional locking feature in the threshold area it also helps prevent burglars entering, while its removable kick plate makes cleaning easier.

Security and durability tested for 20 years of use

Elegant entrance doors are quality-tested for approximately 100,000 openings and closings. This is equivalent to approximately 20 years of use.
And the door will be in use for at least that length of time! The stable frame design of these front doors is enhanced by steel reinforcing with a wall thickness of 2.5 mm and corner braces comprising die-cast zinc parts. The front door can also be fitted with integral multi-point locks and special fittings for enhanced burglary protection.
